Deployment
The deployment phase begins once the customer has approved the
developed product. This phase involves the creation of a roll-out
plan, a training plan, a business continuation plan, risk
management plan, deployment documentation, release notes, a
deployment schedule and much more. Once the solution has been
deployed it goes through a stabilization process to ensure all
critical bugs are resolved. When the developed solution is in
production, Eminent will begin providing support on all production
related issues.
The major milestones and deliverables encountered in this phase
consist of:
- Complete roll-out plan
- Set up of production environment
- Training/Logistics complete
- Actual Product deployment
- Stabilization complete
- Final User Acceptance
This is typically the last phase in our framework, however, most
applications will need new functionality, features or business
rules added at a later time. These enhancements will be treated as
a separate engagement and will begin with the discovery phase
again.
